HP Probook 4320, 4320S, 4510, 4510s, 4515s, 4520, 4520s Screen Replacement

In this blog I will show you how to remove the broken screen from laptop series HP Probook 4320, 4320S, 4510, 4510s, 4515s, 4520, 4520s. The Hp Probook notebook usually come 13.3, 15.6 and 17.3 inches matte TFT LED screens. Listed below are links the replacement screens you will need to be able to carry out this repair.

Precision Screwdriver









To replace the screen of the Hp Probook laptops you will need precision screwdrivers like the ones in the image on the left.
Hp Probook Battery Removal










The first thing is to remove the battery from the Hp laptop before starting the replacement.




At the lower part of the plastic bezel remove the screw covers to expose the screws.





There are 4 screws to remove.




Remove the screws and keep them safe.







Remove Probook Screen Bezel




Put your fingers between the screen and the plastic bit and remove the bezel.




Take the bezel out reveals the internal part of the HP Probook. Using the image on the left remove the 2 screws on the sides of the screen.




Pull the screen slightly and remove all the side screws.




The next thing will be to remove the screen data cable. This is held down by a clear tape. Peel up the tape.




Move the cable clip upwards and disconnect it from the back of the screen.





The HP Probook screen removal process is complete. To install a new screen simply carry out the process in reverse.

Looking at the back of the hp Probook 4320 and the 4320S LED panel you will find the screen part number. The regular screen for these models is LG Phililps LP133WH1.

For the 4520 and the 4520S the screen will be Samsung LTN156AT02, LP156WH2, B156XW02, N156B6-L0B or CLAA156WA11.

Packard Bell NEW90, NEW95, MS2273, MS2285, PAWF7, PEW91, P5WS0 Screen Replacement

These days its very difficult to go a day without using our laptops and mobile handheld. The Packard Bell Easynote laptops are one of the widely used notebooks out there in the market and they have proved to be value for your money. In this tutorial I will show you what to do if you accidentally drop your Packard Bell laptop and crack the screen.

In this instruction we are using Packard Bell models NEW90, NEW95, MS2273, MS2285, PAWF7, PEW91, P5WS0, MS2274, TSX66 as references to the repair. The mentioned models come with 15.6 inch LED TFT screens and can easily damage if not well looked after.

Remove Packard Bell Battery




One of the most important thing to do when replacing or repairing a laptop or netbook is to first remove the battery. This is important as failure to do this may result to total damage.






Remove Screw Cover




Remove the screw cover as in the image on the right. By doing this you will be able to see the screws holding the screen area and the plastic bit all around it.





Remove Screen Screws








Remove the screws and keep them safely.








Remove Plastic Bezel




Carefully remove the plastic bezel. This must be done carefully. The trick is to put your fingers between the screen and the bezel and pull on all sides until it comes off.





Remove top side screws





Removing the bezel will expose the internal part. On two sides at the top you will fine screws. Remove them and pull the screen towards yourself.






Remove Side Screws






Remove all side screws. This is the mechanism holding the screen.








Remove Camera Cable




If your Packard Bell laptop comes with a camera this will be the best time to disconnect it. Carefully locate it at the top and unplug the cable.

Place the screen face-down on the keyboard area and this time you will clearly see the screen data cable and part number.







Disconnect B156XW02 Cable






Pull the data cable connected to the screen. BUT FIRST PEEL UP THE CLEAR TAPE.

The LCD removal process is complete. To install a new screen simply carry on in reverse.
